Homicide investigation at 29th and Newbourne

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Richmond Police are investigating the city's 42nd homicide of the year.

A body was found shortly before six Monday night near the intersection of 29th and Newbourne streets. That's in the city's east end near Creighton Court.

Police believe he was shot but right now they don't have much to go on. The victim is said to be a male in his twenties.

Detectives would like to speak to two men seen in the area.
