Source: Henrico FireA garage fire ends up damaging two homes and destroying two cars in Henrico Saturday night.
It happened in the 1700 block of Careybrook Drive around 7 p.m. Saturday.
Firefighters said they were first told a car was on fire in a detached garage. When they arrived they found the whole garage on fire.
Two homes nearby had minor damage due to the intense heat.
Firefighters said a car left running inside the garage sparked the fire.
The owner will have to stay somewhere else for the night because power was cut off to her home.
The home next door had only cosmetic damage.
