It's hard to believe that in a few short days it will be 2013. I won't spend this time recapping the events of 2012. Let's just say it was an epic year in many ways.
What I would like to talk about is us, us on a personal level. When we look back on 2012, I hope we can say, "I liked what I got accomplished last year." And accomplished means different things to different people. Some accomplishments may have been big and others small, but as long as they were meaningful and with a purpose, then you have to say to yourself, "that was a job well done!"
And on the flip side, there were probably some big and little things that we set out to do and didn't finish. I know I had a few of those on my list. It's about 15 pounds!
But that is what I like about a new year. We get to start all over again. No penalty, no judgment. This year challenge yourself to do more. More may be one big thing that you commit to or many little things that you will stick to, but I believe it is good for the soul to commit to something. And if you really want a charge, commit to something new.
I'm going to start on my list this weekend and place it on the bathroom mirror where I can see it every day. I hope you will do the same. Here's wishing you a Happy New Year and a fantastic 2013!!!
