MATT LINCOLN IN ORLANDO: Hokies look to Thomas for bowl victory

Posted: Updated:
ORLANDO, FL (WWBT) -

Logan Thomas is one of the most talented, physically gifted quarterbacks in the country, so it's hard to explain his struggles during the 2012 campaign.  Thomas will now look to lead Virginia Tech to a Russell Athletic Bowl victory to end the season on a high note, and perhaps his college career.

Thomas has been a little more wild on his throws this year, and says he won't have much margin for error against the Rutgers defense he'll face on Friday. Many realize that Thomas's performance will determine how the Hokies will fare in the contest.

A potential first round draft pick, Thomas is still considering his future, but does say it would be hard to leave his Hokie teammates.
