MATT LINCOLN IN ORLANDO: Coaches give final thoughts before bowl game

Posted: Updated:
ORLANDO, FL (WWBT) -

Frank Beamer is the winningest coach in FBS football.  Kyle Flood has never been the head coach in a bowl game, but the two shared the stage on Thursday to give their final thoughts as their team's prepare to square off in Friday's Russell Athletic Bowl.

Beamer and Flood took part in the final press conference prior to Friday's contest.  The Hokies' head coach is making his 20th consecutive bowl appearance, and is 8-11 in those games.  Despite Flood's bowl inexperience by comparison, his Rutgers team will prove to be a challenge, as the Scarlet Knights will go for their tenth win of the year.
