Richmond City Council tied up some loose ends Thursday, paving the way for the Redskins summer training football camp.
In a special meeting, council approved the last piece of legislation needed to set the deal in motion.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports construction on the $10 million facility on Leigh Street could now begin as early as next week.
The training camp will include two full-size football fields, a fieldhouse and a drill field.
It will be built on state-owned land behind the Virginia Science Museum.
