Uptown Alley New Year's Eve Celebration

 

Uptown Alley is hosting a special New Year's Eve celebration for the community.

The venue is open beginning at 11am, prize drawings and treats for kids will take place at 3pm.

From open to close, patrons of all ages can celebrate on the first floor equipped with 24 bowling lanes and over 60 video and prize games; no cover. A midnight countdown with champagne toast provided.

From 8pm-1am, adults 21 years and older can party on Uptown Alley's second floor ultra lounge, The Rotunda, for an exclusive VIP party; $10 cover. Prize drawings, bowling in 14 private lanes with full bar service, a midnight countdown with champagne toast provided and DJ Milly Badison performs.

New Year's Eve bowling rates from 6pm-close is $30 per hour on first floor and $35 per hour in The Rotunda.

Uptown Alley is open from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday – Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Uptown Alley is located at 6101 Brad McNeer Parkway (near Commonwealth 20 movie theatre).

    Two people displaced after fire destroys Richmond home

    Two people are being helped by the Red Cross, after a fire broke out at their Richmond home. Crews tell us the fire broke out in the 5500 block of Campbell Avenue around 10:55 this morning. When they got on scene, fire crews saw flames coming from the back of the home. They were able to get the fire under control in about 15 minutes. Officials say everyone got out safely, but the damage was so bad, that a man and woman living in the home have to find a new place to live.
