MATT LINCOLN IN ORLANDO: Antone Exum's Christmas Spirit

Posted: Updated:
ORLANDO, FL (WWBT) -

Along with a bowl appearance comes some perks, and for Virginia Tech, one of those perks was a gift card to Best Buy.  The team ventured from their Orlando-area hotel to the store on Christmas Eve to stock up on some of their favorite things, but Antone Exum used his in a different way.

While at the store, the Deep Run product and Hokie starting cornerback met three children from the Bahamas, and instead of spending the gift card on himself, gave the entire thing to them.  He took them through the store and let them pick out whatever they wanted.  Exum says that this year was one of his most memorable Christmas seasons because of his gesture.
