Henrico Fire responded to a garage fire Monday afternoon at 902 Dirk Drive.
The call came in around 12:50 p.m. When firefighters arrived, flames were showing on the garage and moving to the house.
Crews put out the fire pretty quickly - but the garage is a complete loss and the house suffered fire and smoke damage.
A 21-year-old man suffered minor injuries to his hands and was taken to VCU Medical Center.
The three people who lived at the house are now displaced. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
