Police are investigating a deadly shooting in south Richmond Tuesday evening.
Officers responded to a call from the 1700 block of Rosecrest Avenue in Hillside Court. When they arrived, they found a black male in his early 20's shot outside on the street.
He was transported to VCU Medical Center where he later died.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hoodie with white stripes, who ran from the scene carrying a handgun.
Police are working to identify the victim and notify next of kin.
