Two arrested for robbing Third Street Diner in downtown Richmond

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Three thieves tried to rob valets at the Marriott valets then robbed the Third Street Diner in downtown early Tuesday. Two were arrested by Richmond Police.

Two men and one woman attempted to rob a pair of parking attendants around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. However the valets were able to get away safely. The trio then robbed the Third Street Diner about an hour and a half later, police said.

Police were able to arrest the two men shortly after the second robbery attempt. However, they're still searching for the third suspect.
