One injured in Friday morning apartment fire

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

An apartment fire is under investigation in Richmond.

Police say this happened in the 2000 block of North 29 street Friday morning. The fire was quickly brought under control.

One person was taken to VCU Medical Center due to smoke inhalation, but is expected to be okay.

An investigation is ongoing but police say it appears that the fire was cooking related.
