School board to vote on west end school boundaries

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

The Henrico County School Board will vote on a controversial redistricting plan Thursday night.

There are three options on the table. Protests from parents over overcrowding and longer bus rides prompted the board to adjust one plan.

The goal is to pick an option that sets an attendance boundary for a new elementary school and prevent overcrowding.

The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
