CHESTER, VA (WWBT) -
VDOT is holding another public meeting to discuss adding tolls to Interstate 95.
Under the plan drivers would be charged $4 each way for cars and even more for trucks. VDOT says it needs $12 billion in upcoming years for road repairs.
Many in Sussex came out this week to oppose the plan.
Wednesday night's public forum will be held at John Tyler Community College's student center on Jefferson-Davis Highway in Chester at 6 p.m.
