CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -
A man has surrendered peacefully to police after an hour-long standoff in Chesterfield.
Dozens of police, including a SWAT team, evacuated people from the Chesterfield Village Apartments just off Midlothian Turnpike Tuesday after a standoff started in the area.
Police were serving a felony warrant to a man at the apartments, when the standoff situation started. The man eventually turned himself over without incident.
No one was injured during the standoff.
