James Madison University student Eric Davey better do well on his exams. He at least has plenty of luck headed his way after a bit of confusion and some help from Twitter.
Last week, JMU's Senior Vice President for Student Affairs sent out an email to students wishing them good luck on their exams. However, Davey thought the note from Mark J. Warner was actually from Senator Mark Warner.
He sent out a Tweet expressing his confusion, saying "When I got an email from a Mark Warner, I thought it was @MarkWarner wishing me luck on exams, not @JMU's Senior VP of Student Affairs."
Senator Mark Warner, who has nearly 35,000 Twitter followers, saw the tweet and decided he could lend his encouragement to Davey as well. He tweeted a picture of himself holding a sign wishing Davey luck hours later.
