Tyler Police have confirmed that a young East Texas man has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Broadway in Tyler on Thursday.
Dillon Shelton, 20, was headed northbound Thursday around noon on South Broadway on a 2006 Suzuki motorcycle when he collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe. Shelton struck the front of the Tahoe, driven by 63-year-old Pam Davis of Kilgore, as she was attempting to make a u-turn in the intersection of South Broadway and Heritage Drive.
Shelton was transported to East Texas Medical Center in critical condition. Davis was not injured.
