A Henrico Sheriff's Deputy was arrested and charged with DUI and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Henrico police say officers arrested 43-year-old Patricia Baran after an accident Thursday on West Broad and Westerre Parkway.
Police say she was found intoxicated and even refused to take a breath test.
The sheriff's office says Baran worked at the Henrico West Jail for at least five years and is now suspended while authorities conduct and internal investigation.
Baran has been released on bond and her next court date is scheduled for December 20 at Henrico County General District Court.
