Breaking news in Japan this morning--a strong earthquake has prompted authorities to issue a Tsunami Warning. The Japan Meteorological Agency says the earthquake had a magnitude of seven-point-three and hit in the Pacific Ocean off the coast. The epicenter was about six miles beneath the seabed. The warning said the Tsunami could be has high as six feet.
Today marks the 71-st anniversary of Pearl Harbor, the day the Japanese launched surprise air attacks on the United States. More than 23-hundred Americans died. There will be a memorial parade in Waikiki--and in New York. Pearl Harbor survivors will commemorate the anniversary with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.
