Annual Holiday Remembrance Service to be held downtown

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Families who lost loved ones to violence this year will take time to honor their memories Thursday night.

The annual Holiday Remembrance Service is happening downtown at 7 p.m. inside Richmond's City Hall.

Linda Jordan created the event to honor her son, William. He was murdered in 1990.

Jordan says that this can help others who have experienced a similar loss, get through the holiday season.
