
The Hanover County Sheriff's Office is looking for the suspect they say robbed two banks Wednesday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office responded to the Sun Trust bank in the 6300 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike around 2:50 p.m. for a report of a robbery. A second robbery was reported from the BB&T bank in the 9100 block of Chamberlayne Road at 3:15 p.m.
In both robberies, the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money. No weapon was shown and no one was hurt in the robberies.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20's, approximately 5'10" with a medium build, fair complexion, and short, light-colored hair. He was wearing a blue baseball hat with a round emblem, sunglasses, blue long-sleeved button-down shirt, and dark colored pants.
Investigators also believe that the suspect was driving a red compact hatchback.
