A former teacher's aide convicted of assaulting a Chesterfield child with autism will have to wait until January to appeal her case.
Jan Costley's court date was continued Wednesday until January 30 at 1 p.m.
Surveillance video showed Jan Costley yanking on the Matoaca Middle School girl's arms.
Back in June, she was forced to spend two months in jail. A judge also sentenced her to an anger management course and 50 hours of community service.
Costley was fired by Chesterfield Schools.
