We're on top of a developing story this morning from Chesterfield. That's where a person was hit by not one but two vehicles while walking along Hopkins Road last night. One driver stopped the other one didn't and police are still looking for that driver.

It's been a long time coming for a community wanting to see revitalization in that area near the old Clover Leaf Mall. The new store promises not to disappoint. Today, The Virginia State Crime Commission meets -- and could make several key recommendations to lawmakers for the upcoming General Assembly Session. The commission will consider strengthening the state's laws on cigarette smuggling. It will also considering beefing up laws against synthetic marijuana, as well as the hot button issue, of texting while driving.
