The frantic search for a missing 13-year-old girl who ran off with a Virginia man is over.
After a little more than 24 hours on the run, Savanna MacMullett of Pennsylvania was found safe in Washington, D.C.
Ashley Hareford, 20, of Virginia is set to be in court Wednesday. Police received an anonymous tip sometime before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday that the duo had been spotted in the 30th Street Station area in Philadelphia on their way to D.C. Both were picked up at Union Station when their train arrived.
MacMullett is expected to be back home with her parents shortly.
Right now, Hareford only faces a charge of corruption of a minor, but more charges are likely.
