RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
Bishop Walter Sullivan, who headed the Catholic Diocese of Richmond for many years, has inoperable liver cancer.
Bishop Sullivan is 84-years-old. He was the eleventh bishop of the Richmond diocese. He served as its leader for nearly 30 years before retiring in 2003.
