Breaking: Shooting Leaves one Dead

Good Tuesday morning from Gray. Here's a look at some of the stories we following on 12 News Today.

Breaking news this morning---one man is dead after an overnight shooting at a Hopewell apartment complex. This happened around 10:30 last night in a breezeway at Piper Square Apartments. Police say two men--both wearing all black--opened fire--shooting two other men. One died at the scene--the other was taken to VCU Medical Center. Police say the suspects ran to the back of the complex--where they believe a car was waiting. Hopewell police ask anyone with information to call Crime Solvers at 541-2202.

Richmond's new jail is expected to open in about two years but it's already a year behind schedule. However, we're not talking about construction, we're talking about programs. We have a live report.

A Chesterfield County Psychic is taking her case to a Federal Appeals Court in the day ahead. She wants to work out of the same office complex as licensed Psychologists and other professionals. But she says Chesterfield's zoning and licensing regulations are standing in her way. She claims those rules violate her Constitutional Rights.
