Lauren Richardson is treating the common cold.

Symptoms can include nasal congestion, sneezing, sore throat, cough, low grade fever, headache and fatigue.

On average, adults have two to three episodes per year. Symptoms can last about one to two weeks.

See your health care provider if your symptoms last more than two weeks.
