Dr. Edwin Robinson is dealing with several patients who are battling ear infections.
Ear infections are common in infants and children because the eustachian tubes become easily clogged. The clogging then leads to infections.
Anything that causes the eustachian tube to be blocked or swollen such as allergies, cold or sinus infections may lead to the ear infection.
Antibiotics may be needed, even though many ear infections are from a virus. In some cases, tubes need to be placed inside the ear canal.
