ALBEMARLE, VA (WWBT) -
A break in an attempted child abduction at a Virginia mall.
James Key is behind bars and charged with one count of abduction.
Albemarle County Police say Key is the man who tried to abduct a two-year-old child from Fashion Square Mall last Saturday.
The parents were nearby and quickly jumped in - but the suspect ran off.
Police say tips from the community and surveillance pictures helped arrest Key. He's in jail waiting for a bond hearing Friday afternoon.
