RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
A meeting will be held at Virginia Commonwealth University on Thursday to discuss the termination of former women's volleyball head coach, James Finley.
Finley claims he lost his job, because he is gay.
VCU was unable to comment, but the athletic director did release a statement saying embracing diversity is a core value, and the decision was related to the team's future.
The university's student paper is reporting the meeting is set for noon at the Commons Theater.
