All lanes of 360 back open after tractor-trailer crash

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - All lanes of Route 360 are back open after a tractor-trailer crash near Route 288 late Wednesday night.

Two lanes of traffic were closed overnight and into the morning commute after a semi-truck overturned on Hull Street.

Crews took hours clearing the crash scene.

The tractor-trailer was hauling two different freights, and the driver was apparently exiting off 288 onto Hull Street towards Amelia when the truck tipped over.

An employee says the driver was heading to Roanoke to drop off automotive and machinery parts, and other non-hazardous materials.

RL Carriers is a shipping company based out of Ohio with a terminal in Colonial Heights.

The driver, named Rory Jenkins, was transported to Chippenham Medical Center after complaining of minor injuries.

State police have charged him with reckless driving.
