Stronger Texting Laws?

Good Tuesday morning from Gray. Here's a look at some of the stories we following on 12 News Today.

Here is a question some are asking. Should State law surrounding texting and driving be tougher than it is right now? The State Crime Commission is considering and they're not wasting any time taking action.

A traffic alert if you're heading to the Richmond Airport over the next few days. Starting this morning, the upper level roadway used for departures will close to all traffic from 7am to 4pm. That continues on Wednesday and Thursday, for maintenance on the terminal building. Look for the electronic signs directing you to the lower levels for both arrivals and departures.

Today an Army Private charged in the biggest security breach in U-S history will testify at a pretrial hearing. Private First Class, Bradley Manning will try to avoid his February trial, by claiming he's already been punished by his lockup conditions. We are following the case.
