RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
Virginia state police are investigating a man accused of making threats on a bus traveling from Richmond to New York city this morning.
Police say a passenger called 911 regarding a man on the bus making threatening comments.
The bus was evacuated along Interstate 95 in Northern Virginia. HOV lanes were closed for more than two hours, creating a traffic backup for miles.
The bus was cleared at 6am and police say charges are pending against the suspect.
