Virginia State University has reassigned Head Football Coach Andrew Faison to other duties within the University. In 11 years at VSU, Faison compiled a 58-53 record and did not win a CIAA championship. In Fiason's final season, the Trojans finished 4-6.
"We thank Coach Faison for his dedicated loyalty to Virginia State University and our student-athletes," said VSU Athletic Director Peggy Davis in a media release.
According to Davis, VSU will appoint a new head coach.
