Tons of family and friends are sharing their positive memories of Mia Williams on a funeral home web site. They say they'll remember her for her smile and personality.

Some of those same loved ones today prepare to pay their final respects.

Mia Williams was married to her husband Tony Williams for 17 years before police say he took her life. The altercation turning deadly at Mia William's Brandy Oaks home a week ago Monday.

What's more, her teenage children were there when it all happened. In fact, they are the ones who called 911 when things took a turn for the worst.

That's when police say her husband left the scene in his car.

When they saw him driving, officers say he led them on a chase and then jumped out of his car to try to run . That's when he was hit by a car and had to be sent to the hospital with injuries.

He's expected to be okay and has since been charged with his wife's murder.

Mia Williams' will be laid to rest at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia Monday.

A private memorial service was held over the weekend.
