This past Sunday was Veteran's Day and one of the most important things we can do is honor our veterans on this special day, but veterans should to be honored every day. I really can't think of anything nobler than serving in the armed forces. We may not always agree with the politics of why we go to war, but we can never question the bravery and the sacrifice men and women have made in the many wars this nation has fought.
And we also recognize the sacrifices that families of veterans and current armed service people make every day, especially in these challenging economic times. This message is to simply say thank you to all veterans, future veterans and their families for your service to our country.
We particularly want to say thank you to the men and women who have paid the ultimate price with their lives. We honor all veterans and people in the armed forces for putting your country first.
The next time you see a veteran or someone in active duty, stop and take the time to tell them you appreciate their service to our country. Our veterans can never hear the words "thank you" enough.
