Thieves rob Short Pump jewelry store at gunpoint

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Police are looking for three armed men who robbed the Short Pump Town Center's Kay Jewelers Tuesday night.

The three men walked in, and spent several minutes shopping. Police say two of the men then pulled out guns and demanded jewelry. The employees handed over several pieces of jewelry. The thieves took off.

Police describe the first suspect as a black man between 40 and 50-years-old. He is 5'8''-6' tall, and weighs 190-215 pounds. He has short gray hair, a salt and pepper beard, and a dark complexion. He was wearing a dark blue shirt, jeans, blue jacket, and a blue baseball hat.

The second suspect is also described as a black man between 40 and 50-years-old. He is 5'7"- 5'10'' tall and weighs 150-170 pounds. He has short hair, with a dark complexion and thin build. He was wearing a black tee shirt, jeans, black jacket, black skull cap and gloves. Police say he was one of the men that was armed.

The third suspect was also armed, according to police. They say he is a black man between 18 and 23-years-old. He is 5'6"- 5'8'' tall and weighs 145-165 pounds. He has short hair, a beard, a light complexion and a small build. He was wearing a black and yellow shirt with a logo, jeans, gloves and a black skull cap.
