A $2.4 billion development that would bring 250-foot high buildings to Innsbrook received a thumbs up from Henrico's Planning Commission, despite objections from residents.
For the past year, neighbors have raised concerns about the mixed-use development, which would include apartments, retail shops and offices. Neighbors have told us they are concerned about the increase in traffic the project could bring.
However, the Planning Commission gave its stamp of approval to the product Thursday night and will recommend the Board of Supervisors approve the project when they discuss the plans on December 11, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Highwoods Properties is in charge of the project, which could take about 20 years.
