Human remains found in Spotsylvania

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA (WWBT) -

The Medical Examiners Office is working to identify human remains found over the weekend in Spotsylvania.

The remains were found Saturday around 1:30 p.m. near the 9000 block of Brock Rd. The remains were found on the Rappahannock Electric high voltage power line right of way.

The identity, gender, and race of the person are unknown at this time.
