Attention deficit disorder

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Dr. Christopher Ayers is helping his young patients with attention deficit disorder or ADD.

The most common symptom is difficulty focusing on schoolwork. The symptoms must be present in two separate environments (e.g. school and home).

ADD can be present as early as preschool years, but becomes much more recognizable during elementary school years.

See your pediatrician if you think ADD may be a problem.
