Richmond house fire displaces four

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

A family of four is now being helped by the Red Cross following a house fire in Richmond.

Just after 4 p.m., fire crews arrived to see heavy smoke coming from a home in the 4300 block of Ferguson Lane. Firefighters quickly put out the flames.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is now under investigation.

    A man in northeast Arkansas and a woman in south central Kentucky both were killed as the storm that also included strong winds, hail and heavy rain that triggered flooding muscled its way through the area, according to authorities.
