First Lady Michelle Obama will make an appearance at the gymnasium on Virginia State University's campus on Friday.
It's a push to rally grassroots supporters, and inspire new ones in a key battleground state.
Before visiting Petersburg, the First Lady will stop in Hampton Friday afternoon to campaign.
Campaign leaders say the First Lady will speak about what the upcoming election will mean specifically for Virginia. She wants you to rally your neighbors, friends, and family to head to the polls.
Friday's appearance follows the First Lady's stop at Richmond Center Stage in September.
The event is free and open to the public, but you will need a ticket to attend.
Campaign leaders gave out those tickets earlier this week.
