RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
The Nelson County Times is reporting that a 56-year-old man from Nelson County was one of the 15 people rescued from the ship rescued during hurricane Sandy.
Chris Barksdale is from Nellysford, Virginia. According to the paper, he was a handyman who had been aboard the ship for the last two months.
The ship was perhaps most famous for its role in one of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies. The captain of the ship is still missing.
