Michelle Obama plans Petersburg rally Friday

PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT) -

First Lady Michelle Obama will travel to Virginia Friday, where she will speak to grassroots supporters in Petersburg and Hampton.

She will hold an event at Virginia State University, 3200 Boisseau Street. Doors open at 3:00 p.m. Prior to that, she will be at Hampton University – Holland Hall, 160 Marshall Avenue. Doors open for that event at 12:30 p.m.

The events are free and open to the public. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the following locations:

Starting on Wednesday, October 31, from 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM EDT, and will continue if tickets are still available on Thursday, November 1, from 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM EDT.
