Prosecutors dropped all charges against a bus dispatcher involved in a deadly I-95 crash last year.
Zhao Jian Chen was set to go on trial this week on four involuntary manslaughter counts following the May 31, 2011, crash on Interstate 95 north of Richmond.
Chen had pleaded not guilty to those charges in March. The bus was headed from Greensboro, N.C., to New York City.
Prosecutor Tony Spencer had said Chen told Sky Express driver Kin Yiu Cheung to continue driving after Cheung said he was too tired to drive.
Cheung's bus swerved off the highway, hit an embankment and overturned. He will face involuntary manslaughter charges in November.
