RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -
A Humane Society in Danville is offering a $3,000 reward for the arrest of the person who tortured a dog to death.
The dog, a male Jack Russell terrier, died after its owner brought him to the shelter.
The Humane Society said the dog had knife wounds and dog bites. Workers at the Humane Society said the dog's injuries were the worst they had ever seen.
The owner of the dog said it was missing briefly when the abuse happened.
