
Hanover County supervisors are budgeting more money for road projects in Atlee and Mechanicsville.
The county will use $3.28 million from V-DOT to update the Atlee Road extension, including a new traffic signal reports the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
The Rutland area is being made more bicycle-friendly.
The Times-Dispatch says the county will use $13 million to improve Mechanicsville Turnpike, near Lee-Davis road.
