
The man accused of killing his girlfriend in Chesterfield with a brick, will be going to prison for ten years.
Adrian Branch was charged with first degree murder in the death of 38 year old Amy White.
Reports say Branch and White rented a room at a home, on Mockingbird Lane, not far from the Harbour Pointe and Deer Run neighborhoods.
According to the Times Dispatch, Branch made a deal with prosecutors and decided to plead guilty to second degree murder.
A judge sentenced branch to 40 years in prison, with 30 years suspended.
