Today will be a big day for many states in the Southeast, including Virginia, when it comes to preparing for a natural disaster. Disaster officials are coming together for The Great Southeast Shake Out to show people the best ways to survive should another quake strike again.

Plus, the controversial practice of chasing fenced foxes with dogs will be addressed later today. Some people call it a cruel sport. Others say it's a better way to train hounds. the issues is expected to be addressed at the state game office at 9 this morning. That's at 4-thousand West Broad Street.

This morning we have details about a terror plot against a familiar target, Lower Manhattan. Late Wednesday police arrested a terror suspect at the center of an elaborate FBI sting operation. We will tell you where the suspect is this morning and rundown what police say he was planning.
