Plans to upgrade Route 460 will officially get the thumbs up Wednesday from the Commonwealth Transportation Board.
The goal is to turn 460 into a four-lane toll road between Prince George County and Suffolk. The state has been trying for years to build a 55-mile four-lane highway just south of the existing road.
According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, tolls for cars will be $3.69, and truck drivers will pay $11.72.
Construction is expected to start in 2014 and won't open until 2018.
